Hey Hunters 👋 In 2022 I got banned from Stripe so you don't have to. Back then, I launched my habit tracker and I woke up to 5 sales, hoorah! But joy turned to shock: -$75 in dispute fees & my account was being closed. Fraudulent transactions spiked my dispute rate while I slept... I fought back. But despite 5 years with Stripe and $50K+ in earnings, the decision remained the same: "We're sorry that we can no longer offer our services to you, and we wish you the best of luck with your business." Getting banned from Stripe means: 1. All accounts are frozen 2. Can't open new accounts My dream became a nightmare... Luckily, I was building in public on Twitter and complained. @javi_solans I'm not closed to subscriptions but I think users don't like them (I really don't) so I avoid them at all costs. For ByeDispute: If you pay monthly and your business is a rollercoaster, you end up paying for nothing. So I chose a credit system—only pay for what you use—you can take a break without paying

@rrmdpm Yep. It listens to Stripe webhooks and finds fraudulent patterns (a payment with a disposable email for instance) And it runs your rules (sending yourself an email, refunding the payments) to prevent disputes.

@weansard Correct, and also for domino disputes (1 dispute triggers more, for instance, if your customer forgot to cancel its monthly subscription 3 months ago)
