I'm thrilled to be launching BudgetByMe into Early Access today!
The idea for this app came directly from my personal pain point: planning my own wedding. My wife and I started with a simple Google Sheet, but as the months went by, we kept adding columns, complex formulas, and new tabs just to handle things like tracking vendor payment schedules and monitoring progress. It quickly became an overwhelming nightmare. I realized no existing app was purpose-built for the financial lifecycle of a major life event.
So, I built BudgetByMe to be that solution.
BudgetByMe is an event-centric budgeting app specifically designed for weddings, anniversaries, honeymoons, graduations, and other major life celebrations. The platform helps users plan, budget, track expenses, and monitor spending through intuitive dashboards and visualizations.
💡 My Big Vision for BudgetByMe:
I have some huge plans for what this can become. I'm aiming to make event budgeting collaborative, smart, and stress-free:
1. Budget Benchmarking: A feature where you can anonymously compare your budget against thousands of other people planning similar events to see if you're on track.
2. Trusted Vendor Directory: A place where users can recommend and find vendors based on category and budget.
