BUDDyDESK is a skill exchange platform where your skills become your currency. Instead of paying for courses or services, connect with people who want to learn what you know and teach what you want to learn. Create your profile, discover local or online skill partners, chat instantly, and grow together. We believe learning should be shared not limited by money.

Love the barter-style idea here, feels way more human than another course marketplace. One thing I'd want though is some kind of reputation or endorsement system for skill partners, so you can see who's reliable to actually show up to a session. Right now I'd have no way to know if someone flakes on a guitar lesson after two exchanges.
@sultankzbs Thanks so much! That means a lot, we intentionally designed BUDDyDESK to feel more like a community than a marketplace.
You're absolutely right about trust. A reputation system is already on our roadmap, including endorsements, session ratings, reliability scores, and verified skill badges to help members choose dependable learning partners. Our goal is to make every skill exchange feel safe, transparent, and rewarding. Really appreciate you taking the time to share this feedback, it aligns closely with where we're headed.
Love the barter-for-skills angle here, feels way more human than another course marketplace. One thing that would make me trust matches a lot more: a built-in verification system, maybe a quick video intro or a skill assessment quiz, so I know the person teaching guitar actually plays and not just vibes.
@gamzeerciyzqvh Thank you! We're really glad the barter-for-skills concept resonated with you, that sense of genuine human connection is exactly what we're aiming for.
And that's an excellent suggestion. Building trust is one of our top priorities. We're exploring features like verified profiles, short video introductions, skill endorsements, and community reviews to help members feel confident before they connect. A lightweight skill assessment for certain categories is also an interesting idea that we'll definitely evaluate.
Really appreciate you sharing this, it helps us build a better platform.
