What's great
I had literally hundreds of X bookmarks sitting there unused, threads I saved to "read later" and never opened again. Connecting my account took a minute and it started pulling everything in without me having to install a browser extension or re-save anything. The summaries are genuinely useful for deciding what's worth opening versus just skimming, and being able to search in plain language instead of scrolling through a giant unsorted list is the actual fix for the problem, not just a nicer UI on top of the same graveyard.
What needs improvement
Not clear yet whether a summary refreshes if the original thread keeps getting replies after I bookmark it, some of my saves are threads that grow for days, so a one-time snapshot would go stale fast. Would also like a way to bulk-tag old bookmarks retroactively instead of only the new ones coming in after I connect.
vs Alternatives
Raindrop.ioI looked at Raindrop.io first since I've used it before for general link saving, but it's a separate destination you have to deliberately move things into. Bookmarx works with the bookmark button I already use on X, so there's no new habit to build, it just makes the pile I already have actually searchable.

Thanks for taking the time to write this properly.
You're right about threads, and it's a real gap. The summary captures when you bookmarked it, so one that keeps growing won't refresh on its own. There is a re-analyse path, but it re-reads that same snapshot, so it won't pull in replies added later. We will look for this use-case carefully and the feasibility
We're already bulk-tagging last 100 bookmarks that you might have done after connecting your account if you've enabled notifications and added webapp on mobile homescreen.
On Raindrop, that's exactly the distinction. Every other tool is a place you have to remember to move things into. Here you keep using the bookmark button you already use.

Something I needed for a long time. Looking forward to having this feature on more platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and more. Scrolling through the saved stuff is better than scrolling through reels.

We’ve felt this pain for a long time too, which is why we started with X bookmarks first. LinkedIn, Instagram and other platforms are definitely on our radar and the goal is to make all those saved posts actually useful in the future

the sync + summarize part is the real hook for me, I have hundreds of X bookmarks that are exactly the graveyard you described in the intro. One thing I'm curious about: when Bookmarx summarizes a bookmarked thread, is that a one-time snapshot at save time, or does it refresh if the original thread keeps getting replies later? A lot of my "come back to this" bookmarks are threads that grow for days, so a summary frozen at save time would miss the part that actually became useful.
@galdayan As of today it is one time snapshot, we will definitely look into the feedback but I am assuming your thread growing it is just more comments added? will that be useful for you?

@rahul_choudhary10 yeah, more replies would be the useful case for me specifically - my bookmarks are mostly "hot take + a big argument in the replies" threads, so the interesting part is usually what got added after I saved it, not the original tweet. Even a simple "this thread got N new replies since you saved it" nudge would get me to re-open ones I'd otherwise forget about, without needing a full re-summary every time.
