Hey Hunters 👋 Let’s be honest – nobody likes accounting. It’s one of those things you keep putting off because it’s a complete pain in the ass. As a freelancer myself, I know this all too well. I can’t even count how many Sunday nights I’ve spent doing this shit – digging through invoices and hacking everything into Google Sheets. And trust me, I did not start out like this. I've tried pretty much every accounting app out there but none really did what I wanted (getting rid of accounting altogether), so I ended up building it myself… Introducing Billpal, an AI bookkeeping assistant that: 1. Automatically collects invoices from my email 2. Extracts all the information needed 3. Then finds the right bank transaction 4. And reconciles the 2 records 5. So all I need to do is click export and send it to my tax guy How it works: - Users can connect their bank accounts (read-only transaction sync) - 9,000+ banks across the EU and US - Connect email accounts from Gmail, Microsoft, iCloud, Yahoo, IMAP - Automatically downloads invoice PDFs and puts them through a processing pipeline - Agent then attempts to find the correct bank transaction (also across different FX rates) - Export CSVs contain cross references (transactions/documents) + .zip folder with PDFs And the best part: there's a Whatsapp chatbot for me to snap photos of receipts etc but also chat with it. Can tell me what it still needs for the month but also tell me what my margins where in a given month / quarter.
