Ran our own tool on our own site last week, mostly to sanity-check it. Typed in a question our customers actually ask.

Google ranked us above them. The AI answer named the competitor first anyway.

Why we built the "does AI recommend you" checker before anything else

Hey everyone, Maksym here (co-founder). Wanted to share some of the thinking behind BeatSEOAutomation, since it's a bit different from most SEO tools.

Most content tools optimize purely for Google rankings. We started there too, but kept running into the same question: even when a client ranked well, we had no idea whether ChatGPT or Google's AI Overview actually recommended them when someone asked a real question. Turns out ranking and being recommended by AI are increasingly two different things.
