What real task does your product handle with GPT-6 Astra?

I used GPT-6 Astra in Codex to help get Backs, a solo project I've been working on for years ready for launch. It's a modular Chrome new tab that people can arrange around how they work. Astra helped with implementation, debugging, testing and deployment across the existing codebase. For example, we built the Product Hunt Premium offer across Stripe and Firebase, then tested monthly and annual renewals, cancellations and failed payments to make sure billing and Premium access stayed in sync. As a solo founder being able to work through those connected problems at such speed in one place made a real difference. I could take an idea, work through the implementation and check that it actually worked. Seeing a project I'd carried around for years finally come together like this has been pretty cool.

I built Backs because I never felt new tabs were customisable enough. Some people want their tasks right in front of them. Some want shortcuts in the top left, others in the bottom right. Some don’t want either. They just want a nice background and a clock. I wanted to be able to choose what was there and where it went, so the solution was to simply make everything modular! In Backs, you build your new tab from widgets called Backons. Add the ones you want, move them where you like, and leave out anything you don’t need. There are tasks, notes, bookmarks and focus tools, alongside little animated plants, lanterns and other things to play with. Their colours adapt to your background, so everything fits together. You can also keep different setups in separate Spaces and share your layouts with a link. It’s free to start, with no account needed and optional Premium features.
