I built Awaledger for African small business owners who keep records in receipts, notebooks, and spreadsheets but still struggle to understand where their business money goes.

The aim is to make keeping those records and understanding them easier.

With Awaledger, you can:

• Upload a receipt photo, review the extracted details, and save the entries without typing everything from scratch.

• Record income and expenses in one ledger, or import existing spreadsheet records.

• Get plain-English insights that highlight your biggest expense category, spending above recorded income, or missing income entries.

• Calculate product unit costs, compare markup and margin, and save your calculations.

• Ask questions about your business records in everyday language.

You review receipt details before saving them, and the insights reflect the records you’ve entered.
