Athena helps you build a polished, launch-ready store with complete pages, products, and localized copy. From there, it keeps the business moving by creating products in bulk, setting up discounts, configuring shipping, and launching ad campaigns. Payments, logistics, fulfillment, and loyalty are built into the same platform, so the store Athena creates is not just a storefront. It is ready to operate as a real business.
@weekendproject This balance is exactly what we designed Athena to handle. Once you share your goal with Athena, she will understand the objective and build an execution plan based on what you want to achieve. Before taking any action that requires execution, Athena will ask for your confirmation. Only after you confirm will she proceed with the task.
@weekendproject Good question — it's not one dial, it's two simple rules:
Missing info → always ask. If Athena doesn't know which product, how much, or which store, it clarifies. Every time, no exceptions — that's not a risk judgment, it just doesn't know yet.
Known risky action → confirm by default, but let users buy down the friction. First time, Athena always shows a confirm card. Users can choose "apply once" or "always apply" — the latter remembers that specific action for the rest of the conversation and auto-applies it going forward.
@jeff_pz mentioned it's not fully autonomous end-to-end yet, especially for stuff like seasonal campaigns, what's the current split between what Athena runs on its own vs what still needs manual review before going live?
@abod_rehman Great question, Abdul. For a seasonal campaign like BFCM, Athena can take on execution-heavy tasks such as creating products in bulk, updating product information, and creating or copying discount campaigns. For any important action that creates, edits, or deletes something in the store, Athena first gathers the necessary details and shows a preview. The merchant reviews and confirms it before anything takes effect. Athena handles the repetitive execution, while the merchant keeps final control over every important change.

The data analysis piece is underrated here. Most sellers I know make decisions on gut feeling because pulling reports takes too long.
@emmanuel_marjory That's the gap we kept running into too. It's rarely that merchants don't want the data — it's that by the time you've pulled the report, segmented it and figured out what changed, the week is over and you've already acted on instinct anyway.
So Athena's analysis works the other way round: you ask "why did conversion drop last week" in plain language, and she compares the period against a baseline and breaks it down across audience, channel and funnel stage to say where it most likely came from — plus what to check first. The point isn't a faster report, it's skipping the report and getting to the judgment call.

This hits a real pain point. Listing optimization alone eats hours every week. If Athena handles that reliably it's already worth it.
@codecoffee Thanks for sharing this and honestly, this is something we hear from a lot of merchants. We’ve seen many merchants spend a significant amount of time every day on repetitive tasks like listing updates and store management. Time that could be better spent on thinking about growth, improving campaigns, or just stepping back to see the bigger picture. That’s exactly why we built Athena to take those repetitive, time-consuming tasks off merchants’ plates with AI, so they can get back to focusing on what actually moves their business forward.

The store setup part caught my eye. How long does it take to go from zero to a live storefront?
@guy_webster 5–7 min: You describe your business (or point Athena at your product catalog / an existing site), and it generates the full store — pages, navigation, product structure, brand styling. Not a template with your logo slapped on; it composes the layout around your products and positioning.

Congrats on the launch! Does Athena work with existing Shoplazza stores or do I need to migrate?
@elvira_windsor Thanks for the support! Athena is deeply integrated with the Shoplazza ecosystem and commerce infrastructure, so existing Shoplazza merchants can start using it directly. And for merchants coming from other platforms, we also support one-click store migration to help them move their products, customers, orders, and other store data more easily. Many of our users have successfully migrated their stores to Shoplazza and started using Athena.

Interesting approach. Most "AI agents" fall apart on real tasks, but tying it directly into the store backend is smart. Execution beats suggestions.
@hugh_rossetti We agree that execution is where AI agents need to prove their value. Athena is built with native access to commerce workflows, allowing it to understand store context and help merchants complete real multi-step tasks, not just offer suggestions.
The product looks polished. How does Athena decide when to ask for confirmation vs just executing? That balance seems tricky.
