When the agent is conducting the qualitative interviews live on Zoom, how does it manage the latency between the user’s speech and the agent’s follow-up questions? I’m interested to know if the agent uses a local speech-to-text pipeline to maintain a natural conversational flow, and how it handles interruptions or 'off-script' comments while ensuring the research objectives remain deterministic.
@khayalius This was genuinely interesting to explore. We had implemented a small context-aware AI interviewing module as part of a college project before, so it was cool seeing a workflow focused on conversational interviews and insight extraction at a much larger scale.
One thing I’ve noticed while working on similar flows is that maintaining meaningful conversational depth over time gets surprisingly difficult, especially when the AI has to generate follow-up questions dynamically. How do you prevent the interviews from slowly becoming repetitive or surface-level during longer sessions?
