Articos MCP launched yesterday and ended the day at #1. 327 upvotes and a wall of thoughtful comments.
For a bootstrapped team, that caught us off guard, especially in a field this strong. We launched the same day as some great teams, @opencode , @Fina @Kai, and the folks behind them, @thdxr, @clay_raterman, @jim_hartung. Good day for all of us
Big thanks to @chrismessina for hunting us again. The pre-launch calls shaped the whole thing, the story, the flow, the maker comment. Chris pushed us to lead with the actual value instead of just it s an MCP now, and that reframe is a big reason yesterday worked.
I believe that verifying the messaging or presentation of something before bringing it to market is a truly effective idea. Even a slight change in how a product is portrayed can lead to a significant difference in peoples perception of it. Moreover, integrating this process into the relevant team's existing workflow makes the concept even more appealing.
@1mirulΒ Spot on! tiny wording changes shift perception more than people think :) and keeping it in the workflow is what makes people actually do it.
Congrats on launching in Product Hunt, team! I think finding the right ICP and positioning takes most startups at least 3-6 months. Solving a problem this broad is already a big achievement. Congrats again on the launch!
@kartikrawattΒ indeed, thanks for the support!
How does Articos make sure the personas don't just agree with everything?
Been with Articos since the early design-partner days, and the team at Wellows (product marketing, growth, content, everyone) still uses it all the time for landing pages and campaigns. This oneβs handy for us, we pretty much live in the agent, so curious how the simulation plays into that.
Couple of things I am wondering:
Anything coming for the reports? Would love them to be a bit more actionable day to day.
And how does it handle a specific category, like if we run a test for healthcare or fintech, does it factor that in?
Congrats on the launch :)
@masabgaditΒ thanks a lot and having you with us since the early days means a lot. On the category question, healthcareβs actually been a big one lately, a lot of healthtech companies and agencies use us there, since real research in that space is tough to run and with us itβs doable. And yes, more actionable reports are in the works too. Happy to show your team.
@masabgaditΒ Thanks Masab - appreciate the partnership.
How does it handle tricky languages that aren't english? If I test ads for my spanish users, does it still give me good reasons why one wins?
@hemendra_khatik itβs multilingual, so you can test your Spanish ads as is and still get the full reasoning on why one wins, not just the result.
Love the idea of bringing buyer feedback directly into Claude and Cursor. As a founder, one of the hardest things is knowing whether your positioning actually resonates before spending time and money on distribution. Curious though, how well do simulated buyers reflect real customer behavior, especially in niche B2B markets? Congrats on the launch!
@naiknaved09Β Hey - we have benchmarked our results and found Articos to be 86% close to real world research
The concept of simulated customer feedback seems quite intriguing. I am interested to know how Articos handles products with multiple customer segments especially when a single message might appeal to one group while having no impact on another. Can users compare these reactions side by side?
@tanjumΒ Yep. One study can show you how each segment reacts to the same message, side by side, so you see where it lands for one and misses the other.
