Apibara.tech is a developer API platform for building data-driven products faster. The launch includes ready-to-use APIs for vehicle auction data, media data, YouTube tools, streaming links and captions. It stands out with OpenAPI documentation, GitHub examples, a free plan, live demo, and a WordPress plugin for adding Copart and IAAI auction listings to websites without building a custom scraper.

Hi Product Hunt 👋
I built Apibara.tech to make it easier for developers, startups and automotive platforms to work with structured data without spending months building scrapers, parsers and custom integrations.
The first major product is our Vehicle Auction Data API for Copart and IAAI data. It provides vehicle listings, VIN records, lot details, prices, photos, auction status, sale history, filters and shipping data through a clean JSON API.
For this launch, we also prepared:
* OpenAPI documentation
* GitHub code examples
* A free plan for developers
* A live demo
* A WordPress plugin for auction listings
* API tools that are easier for AI agents and automation workflows to understand
I’d love to hear your feedback — especially from developers, car import businesses, marketplace builders and people working with automation or AI agents.
Report
How often do you refresh the auction data on Copart and IAAI, and is there any way to get real-time updates or is it on a fixed schedule?
Bid and auction price updates are refreshed almost in real time — usually within up to 15 seconds. Full vehicle details are refreshed within up to 30 minutes, although this can vary depending on the source and auction activity.
We currently run 20+ parallel update streams across different filters and segments. Since some vehicles can appear in multiple flows, they may be refreshed more than once during that period.
So it is not one fixed schedule for all data. Prices are updated much closer to real time, while full vehicle data uses a distributed refresh process.
