The data API toolkit for AI agents. 6 APIs — email validation, Telegram registration check, China phone lookup, company facts (ticker/CIK), public holidays for 100+ countries, IP geolocation — each with an official Claude Code skill on GitHub. Flat JSON responses. Predictable schemas. Only charged on HTTP 200. 100 free credits on signup. $5 for 5,000 calls. Credits never expire.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm the maker of API Pick, and I wanted to share why I built this.
I was building a lot of AI agent pipelines — lead enrichment, contact research,
CRM automation — and I kept hitting the same friction: data APIs were either:
❌ Too expensive ($24 for 3,000 email verifications on ZeroBounce)
❌ Monthly caps that reset and didn't fit bursty usage
❌ Response schemas so complex that LLMs struggled to parse them
❌ No native support for AI agent tool calling
So I built API Pick: 6 focused APIs that are simple by design.
**What makes it different:**
🎯 **Flat JSON responses** — every endpoint returns exactly what you need, nothing
more. No nested pagination, no complex auth flows.
💳 **Pay-as-you-go that actually works** — $5 gets you 5,000 credits. Credits never
expire. You're only charged on HTTP 200 success responses, so retries are free.
🤖 **Claude Code skills** — I published official skills on GitHub (apipick-lab org)
so developers can use any API just by asking their AI agent naturally.
🔒 **No data retention** — all queries are processed in-memory.
The 6 APIs cover what I found myself reaching for most:
- Email validation (syntax + MX + disposable detection)
- Chinese phone number lookup (carrier, province, city)
- Telegram registration check
- Public company data by stock ticker
- Public holidays for 100+ countries
- IP geolocation (MaxMind GeoLite2)
100 free credits on signup, no credit card needed. I'd love your feedback on what
API to build next!

Hi Sarah - I took a quick look at API Pick and the way you price it (credits, only charged on HTTP 200, bursty agent usage) feels like a good match for a simple stablecoin top-up option alongside cards, especially for international developers who run into card/FX friction. Another practical angle is issuing signed usage receipts (or a periodic hash-anchored usage summary) to make billing easier for teams using API keys at scale. If you’re open to it, I’d love to chat and share a few implementation patterns we’ve seen work (while staying fully compliant with KYC/AML where needed).
