API Diff helps you check changes within two versions of an API. Drag and drop or add urls of the two files on our platform and see the modifications in the blink of an eye. And if you're more comfortable with that, you can use the CLI or the Github Action.

Hey everyone, I'm Anthony, co-founder of Bump. Our team and I are very excited to share API Diff with you today. **Why did we build API Diff ?** With Bump, you can easily track changes within your API documentation, between different versions. We wanted to give a glimpse of our magic behind Bump, with a tool that could compare two versions of an API: API-diff.io. API-diff provides a one-time check at any time. Think of it like a ‘git diff’ but way more efficient to outline the changes. If you have any questions, feedback, or comments, let us know — we’d love to have a chat with you about the program and its features!

Great idea for a tool, I'm sure postman has this functionality buried in it somewhere but who knows with how bloated it's gotten now - congrats on the launch 😀

Seems super useful for documented APIs. Although, from what I can see using the discourse example, it does not show nested changes. For example, it says "group body was modified" but does not mention which fields were added/removed from it. Is this feature on the roadmap? Another minor feedback, the wording on " body was modified" can be improved to something like " field in the body was modified".
Anthony Lio
@samyaks Hey Samyak, thanks for your feedback! In that case a click on "View Changes" will lead you to the change documentation with more details. We are however working toward a more detailed summary, I'd happy to talk more about it anytime!
Sébastien Charrier
@samyaks Thanks a lot for these feedbacks Samyak. We're working on a better way of handling nested properties, this is definitely on our short term roadmap.
