AnyGPT puts ChatGPT inside any app on your Mac. Essentially any text field in macOS becomes a ChatGPT input prompt. Simply enter gpt: followed by the prompt and hit enter. Ex. in iMessage type gpt: suggest 10 holiday spots near New York & hit Shift+Enter.

Hey Product Hunters! 👋 I'm excited to introduce AnyGPT: ChatGPT Inside any macOS app. Simply enter gpt: followed by the prompt and hit shift+enter. You need to enter your own API key. The app allows you to choose between gpt3.5turbo and gpt4 (if you have access). The app is a 1-time lifetime purchase with an early bird pricing of $4.99. I built this primarily to use in Xcode and it has been of tremendous help. But you can use it basically anywhere such as email clients, writing apps, etc. Check the linked youtube video for more clarity on how it works. AnyGPT is a native, sandboxed macOS application. Very good idea. I wonder if there is the possibility that the asked sentence goes to the clipboard and disappear from the text input.

This seems like a really useful tool for anyone who uses a lot of text input on their Mac. Having ChatGPT available from any app could be a real time-saver. I'll definitely be checking this out!
