I've been in the fund for about 8 months (Feb-2025 start). So far I like how it works but as an experienced investor I need to see how well it performs in a downturn. I am familiar with the ETFs used and I am able to see via trades how the algo works to a certain extent (all intuitive at this point). I've added cash within the last couple of months. I am wondering why it has remained in cash rather than being invested into the selected percentages. This product has real promise as a 'set-it-and-forget-it' investment but I would need to have the ability to include/add alphaAI in the family trust to build it up further.

On the cash allocation: since we are investing in 3x leveraged ETFs, downside risk is top of mind. Given current market conditions, the system will rarely go above 40-60% exposure (multiply that by 3 and you get 120-180% total exposure). The rest of your cash is put into a high-yield fund while our AI continually assesses market conditions.
