@jimd How does pay out to vendor work? If I'm a vendor and am accepting payment across multiple payment processors do I need to have an account with all of them and complete KYC with each? Or do I complete it once with you guys then have my bank info with just AirPay for payout to my bank?

@jimd @ryanmarr I may be wrong here, but from what I've gathered, you'll still need to KYC with each payment processor. By the looks of it, their API just gives you the ability to track incoming payments across all of your processors in a single ledger, and then push payouts, using those multiple processors from within the AirPay app, rather than signing into each individual processor account.

@jimd @tahaadiljalil So main customer benefit is instant international checkout not necessarily white-labelled setup. Customer focus is end users, not platforms?

@ryanmarr thanks for asking! @tahaadiljalil is correct -- for v1 with AirPay you 'bring your own account' at the underlying payment processors that you're using, so you'd complete KYC with each. We have efforts in the works to be able to spin up accounts at payment processors on your behalf, to make everything more streamlined. Stay tuned!

What is your difference between Uviba Payments? They have the same feature and they also give merchant account and so many more benefits.

@mrjohn3 it looks like Uviba is for bank transfer payments in particular. AirPay is focused on giving you broad coverage across all possible payment methods.

@mrjohn3 @jimd wow you even copied Uviba home page design. I use Uviba for almost 4 months now, and I told them as they grow copycats will come. Why did you copy their home page? And you offer portion of their product.

I really like the product, currently in my website I just have paypal and I still need to add other payment methods! What about i18n?

@michele_patrassi great question! For many payment providers (including Stripe, Braintree, Adyen, and definitely PayPal) we give you the option to pull in their pre-built checkout flow, so you'd benefit from their i18n. Right now any of our own strings are English, but it's definitely on our roadmap to add i18n there as well.

Hey @jimd congratulations on the launch! (+ an impressive list of advisors). What are your thoughts on crypto payments? I see a bitcoin logo but not much info on how it would work for the merchant (maybe I missed it). Will you allow other cryptocurrencies like BCH, or stablecoins like USDH/USDT etc. Thanks!

@jhm_uk thanks! We currently accept Bitcoin and Stellar on behalf of some our beta merchants who have requested it. But, our focus currently is on trying to provide complete coverage of traditional payment gateways first.

hello there, congrats on launch. Im a non-tech founder looking to implement web payments. My questions are : - does this work on web ? - why Airpay instead of stripe directly (COut, buttons) - any demo site ? - if i use airpay, should i also create an account on stripe / paypal / bank account ? - Does it integrate with Apple/Google/Samsung Pay ?
