Looks cool. Curious, how do you keep provider keys safe on the client side?

@irene_morrison1 thanks! We secure your provider keys on our servers encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM). They are only decrypted on the server when a chat/API request is made via the SDK. The only credential exposed to the client is a project identifier (which you can easily delete or rotate). Abuse of this identifier is mitigated through rate limiting, monitoring, and origin allow-list.

Great work @mark_watson_28 and team! 👏 As a PM, I can see Airbolt saving tons of time for companies wanting to add smart features—like AI chatbots, AI-generated content suggestions, or smart analytics—without worrying about backend hassles.
The no-backend, plug-and-play setup feels easy and perfect for building prototypes, powering smart workflow automation, dynamic user experiences, or integrating AI-driven decision systems at scale. I'm Excited to see what upcoming features are next on your roadmap? Are you planning to add analytics, new model integrations, or advanced team collaboration in the pipeline? Can't wait to see your growth!🔥

@sneh_shah thanks! Some of the most immediate features are:
Supporting many more providers beyond OpenAI (and automatic failover and dynamic dispatch)
Bring-your-own-auth (lock down the inference API with your existing Auth0, Clerk, Firebase, etc auth)
Super simple RAG/Vector search
Mobile SDKs
That said, we're working with early users to really drive prioritization based off of real use cases!
And, we want to continue to add functionality to our self-service dash so that you can "upgrade" your AI without having to modify your source or redeploying.

@mark_watson_28@sneh_shah Thanks for the feedback! Would love to hear how you'd prioritize the additional features you mentioned

Do you have plans to support OpenRouter?
Report

@ali_hassan19 Yes! We’re also still investigating real use cases for multi-provider support, especially as it relates to automatic failover and, more generally, dynamic dispatch.

Love the idea of skipping that overhead and still keeping things safe. Curious—do you already support mobile SDKs or is that still on the roadmap?

@viktorgems thanks! Right now we only have a web SDK but adding mobile is at the top of our backlog and will be released soon!

@mark_watson_28 Looking forward to that. Good luck to you guys!
@dave_phelan1 Anything in particular about Airbolt that caught your eye?

This is super relevant, I’ve hit the same wall adding AI features to my projects and something like Airbolt would’ve saved me a ton of time.

@aaroncodeconda really appreciate it! Let’s connect so we can ensure Airbolt works for you moving forward

@aaroncodeconda This is exactly why we are building Airbolt! As we were building more and more projects with LLM SDKs, we kept building the same backend proxies over and over (mainly to protect keys and prevent people from misusing them and running up our costs.)
Aside from the obvious time saved setting up boilerplate security and configuration, we're super excited to see what other advanced functionality we can unlock for our users in the future. Lots more to come!
@irene_morrison1 thanks!
