We started AirAdvisor because my family missed wedding anniversary when we were denied boarding by Lufthansa at FRA airport. LH staff besides being very rude and did not follow airport procedures, aka did not make a final call, did not allow us to board the plane & closed the gate.
Our family was stuck stranded at airport with NO assistance from airline. We faced visa expiry issues, series of questions from immigration . We had to book last minute stay, spent on taxi, food, incidentals. It was horrible experience where simple airport connection did not go as planned due to airline fault. Worst of all, we had wedding anniversary arrangements planned for the next day in Dubai and instead we were on the board the next day. All arrangements went to waste.
Back than I knew about passenger rights already, but airline staff did not know or pretended they did not know. They were far from helpful. This just proved that even when person knows their rights, airlines just ignores it and that happened indeed in Germany!
Later, I asked my friends lawyers in EU to help get compensation, but they struggled not being specialised in this niche of law. After that and facing other flight delays myself, I decided to start AirAdvisor to help passengers just like myself.
AirAdvisor mission is to
=> raise awareness of passenger rights that exist under EU Regulation EC 261 (read more here: https://airadvisor.com/en/eu-reg...) and empower claiming compensation by passengers; and
=> become a platform where clients who wants to avoid a hustle dealing with airlines directly, to submit a claim in under 3 minutes and do this without any risks.
We have been through pre-Covid times and we thought it was difficult, when Covid hit, it was a disaster as airlines were on verge of survival. Our new team has improved the product to be one of the best, if not the best on the market, and we expanded our legal partner reach to cover most EU countries. We feel strong about helping passenger now.
We keep our fee the lowest economically possible on the market (30% without any hidden fees or admin or processing fees, taxes included), so anyone can afford it without paying over the nose. If we're to engage a lawyer, service fee goes up to 50% to cover cost of external legal partners.
Next time you face flight delay or cancellation, please read it https://airadvisor.com/en/flight...
we would be happy if you entrust us with your claim here: https://airadvisor.com

Even though we have been doing this for last 4 years, we decided on get published on ProductHunt only now, since there are a lot of flight cancellations and flight delays due to airline ops inefficiencies, so we hope to help some passengers that are stuck.
@lillian_lopez Dear Lillian,
great question, we actually do not charge or ask for credit card info.
we get our modest commission only from payout received from the airline, so you effectively pay us nothing, but just get less in the end.
but you do NOT pay anything if we cannot help. we will also fund a law suit to collect compensation.

my friend just had a flight cancellation at o'hare airport, can you guys help with this? so I can share
@karlene_frandsen Yes, we would be able to help provided the flight was with EU airline. If flight was with a US carrier, we can only help with flight refund and/or compensation on case of denied boarding. hope this clarifies

I am a user, so used it before, these guys helped me w BA flight delay previously, so support them here
@hemile_yadam Dear Hemile, great question, AirAdvisor website is the fastest on the market, we also keep our tier 1 fee the lowest on the market, we also collect compensation not just based on EU regulations like other services are doing, but also can claim under Canadian, USA, Turkish and Ukranian Passenger Regulations as may be applicable.
However, we currently do not do baggage claims, we might roll this out soon as a self help kit.
hope I answered your question, let me know if still in doubt.
ps. we also support claims processing in 10 languages, plan to add more, whereas many other services have more regional focus.
@hemile_yadam besides that feel free to use us once to see for yourself, you can check your prior flights going back for 3 years here https://airadvisor.com
