Agent Inbox gives every AI agent its own email address, Slack handle and Telegram handle, all behind one API. Message your agent from wherever you already work, and it replies in the same thread. It works with Claude, Grok, OpenAI, Hermes and any other agent framework. No more glue code for each channel: your agent gets one inbox, and you get one place to reach it.

We already run our own alerts through a Telegram bot, so that part is exactly right. For the next channel I'd vote SMS. In healthcare, that's how patients actually answer.
Keeping the reply in the original thread makes sense. The person asking for an update can follow the task in the same place they started it.
@oleksii_sekundant Yes! Anchoring agents around conversation around the different channels gives them an identity and a way to communicate with the people around them.
The one inbox behind three channels is the part that makes sense to me — the glue is never the interesting part of an agent, but a Slack bot here, a Telegram webhook there and a shared email account nobody trusts adds up fast, exactly as Dima describes. Giving the agent one stable address instead, and letting me message it from wherever I already am, feels like the right abstraction. The framework-agnostic bit matters too — I don't want my agent's contact details tied to whichever framework I started with.
The approval record needs to bind the human’s reply to the exact proposed action. I’d include an action hash, target, expiry, and one-time nonce so a delayed “yes” cannot approve a changed command or be replayed after the agent retries. Identity and timestamp alone do not close that gap.
Congrats on Agent Inbox. Wiring an agent into one chat app by hand cost me an evening, so one API for all the channels is the shortcut I wanted.
