@andmitsch Yeah, it's a problem they are facing right now as with the emergence of more and more skilled based competition sites, the FTC is cracking down. A major issue is that sites don't check a users age, which can lead to under-age esports athletes competing.
Ader is taking incredibile initiative to solve a problem that most of the ad industry is avoiding in the gaming space --sponsorship. Ad blocking is becoming more and more prevalent, and I love how they have taken influencer marketing and tailor fit it to solve this problem.
@destroysultan Right now, the three top ones are hearthstone, LOL and CSGO. Hearthstone is the hottest game of the three as there is a trend towards high depth mobile games. It's pretty hard to promote games like that currently, so live streaming them on twitch is an awesome solution!
To say this is a smart idea would be a massive understatement. Ader is incredible and such a great way of effectively connecting companies to the audiences they need to reach in an appropriate way.
Sick! Hmm, i wonder how sponsorships will affect the integrity of matches in competitive games... when there's more money involved, there's usually less honesty i think ;p
@ardentkid I think it depends on the type of sponsor. Some will be paying for exposure, others will be contributing to prize pools. The majority we work with fall in the first category so I doubt it will affect much at all except pushing the players to stream more!
