I’ve always liked daily geography/trivia games and the feeling of coming back each day for a quick challenge. After playing a lot of those, I started thinking it would be fun to have something similar for companies, brands, and business knowledge. That was really the starting point for 500dle. I wanted to take that same daily puzzle format and apply it to Fortune 500 companies in a way that felt fun and replayable, not overly educational or dry. As I built it, the idea expanded into different modes like ranking companies by revenue, guessing logos, finding hidden connections, and higher/lower rank matchups. A lot of the work ended up being in making the games feel fair, intuitive, and worth coming back to each day.
