Upload your own image, then choose from a large choice of settings to customize the look and feel of your 3D book. The result in pure CSS and HTML to use however you want.
Hi @scastiel !
I love it. 👍 That's what an outstanding developer would do. 😉 You even added image alt!
In the future, will you have an option (if it's possible) to just upload an image to reflect that on the cover instead of inputting URLs? Like those mock-up sites for desktops and phones?
Hi ProductHunt!
I created this generator because I wasn’t satisfied with the ones I found on the web; I wanted to do it with CSS only, and animated.
I wanted a cover image for the book I am currently writing (The Outstanding Developer, link on the website), and since other people might need it I created it as a generator.
On my blog (link on the website), you can also find an article where I explain step by step how you can create the same effect with CSS by yourself.
Feel free to ask me any question :)
Sebastien.
Nice, somehow I missed this on Product Hunt launch day. Upvoted now because I really like it. Was tweeting about this the other day. How is the book going? ;)
Wow, looking for such a solution a few days ago for my book, that's good timing :)
I really like this execution, thank you for sharing your creation !
I added your step-by-step guide to this list : https://www.indiehackers.com/pos...
Wow... Amazing! I have a science magazine called The Geekly, in which we have a "Book of the month section". It's really annoying to take pictures, then remove the background. This tool saved my life! Thanks!
