169Pi Playground is your interactive space to explore real reasoning with Alpie Core, our new 4-bit advanced reasoning model. Drop in prompts, run live internet searches, tweak parameters, and watch reasoning unfold step by step — fully transparent, traceable, and yours to experiment with. Built for developers, researchers, and the endlessly curious. Sign up for 1M free tokens weekly. Public API access opens next week — your feedback means everything.

Alpie Core
Hey everyone,
We built the 169Pi Playground because we felt something was missing in AI development: a way to observe reasoning instead of guessing it. Models shouldn’t feel like magic tricks. You should be able to see the steps, challenge them, and learn from them.
Inside the Playground, running on our 4-bit reasoning model - Alpie Core. Every prompt becomes an experiment. You can follow the model’s chain of thought, inspect how decisions are formed, run live web searches, and adjust parameters to understand behaviour at a deeper level. If you're building agents or testing workflows, this is for you.
Our goal isn’t just to launch a product — it’s to build an ecosystem around transparent, reasoning-first AI.
We offer 1 million free tokens every week so you can explore without obstacles. Public API access is coming next week, and your early feedback will directly influence what we ship next.
We are also really excited to roll out a list of new features in the coming days to make the Playground even more fun, capable, and experimental for everyone.
Right now, we’re here to listen — your thoughts, ideas, critiques, all of it.
And if you run into anything at all, whether it’s a signup hiccup or something inside the Playground, please email us at support@169pi.ai. If it's urgent or blocking you, I'll quickly provide a demo, guide you through it, or resolve the issue as soon as possible.
Thanks for giving us your time and attention.

@chirag_a2207 Does this have a feature to visualize the reasoning steps like a simple flow chart?
Alpie Core
@masump Not yet, but we are working toward it. Right now, you can expand the reasoning trace to see every step in a clean, text-based format. A visual flow-style view is something we’ve been exploring, and it’s high on our list because a lot of people think in diagrams rather than paragraphs.
If you have a specific visual style in mind, I would love to hear it. Your input genuinely helps us shape what comes next.
