0tab gives your Chrome Bookmarks a keyboard shortcut. Type 0, press Tab (or spacebar), type a short code, Enter, and any saved page opens from anywhere in Chrome in about two seconds. One code can open a whole folder as a tab group, so your standup dashboard, Slack, and board open together. AI adds smart tags, semantic search, and a chat panel. It runs on-device by default (Gemini Nano), or you can plug in your own OpenAI API key. Free, open source, two-way synced with Chrome's bookmarks.

Hello Product Hunters 👋
I'm Kavil, a product manager. I build solutions for problems that annoy me, vibe coded and once possible make it available for others to use.
0tab AI started with my own bookmark bar. Hundreds of things saved once and never found again, while the websites I actually open or find for when required are buried in folders. I wanted to keep the important ones one keystroke away.
So now I type 0, press Tab (or space), type a short code (I use "gh" for GitHub, "z" for all my Zoho work tabs), and I'm there in about two seconds. Assign a keyword to a folder and it opens the whole set as a Chrome tab group. My "z" code opens my Group Chat, Support Tickets assigned to me, and the Sprint board all at once.
AI can be enabled and runs on-chrome locally via Gemini Nano, which is Chrome's built-in model. No API key, nothing leaves your machine. Or you can plug in your own OpenAI key if you prefer. Both handle smart tags, search for the half-remembered link, and a chat panel you can talk to in plain English.
It's free and fully open source:

I'd love your honest feedback, especially on the shortcut flow and what you'd want the AI to do next. Happy to answer anything.
