What do you think? …

Cooper Wrenn
It took me about a week to build this product from scratch utilizing a few different Ai tools and previous knowledge. Honestly very proud of it! I'm genuinely passionate about shifting our generation away from the programming that takes place when you view any mainstream media source. It's a sad world we live in when it comes to this and I believe this a good step in the right direction. Everyone in the news has an hidden agenda, TrumpTracker.ai doesn't. Check it out and let me know what you think! Do me a favor and bump this up for me 😀
Nika

This is definitely the very first thing that grabbed my attention on Product Hunt today! :DD

What is the (main) source of information? Twitter or Truth Social? Because, as I know, he uses his social media (or blog or whatever) to announce these things. Or there are more resources?

Cooper Wrenn

@busmark_w_nika Hey Nika! Thank you for the support!

We're using multiple sources that cross reference with each other: X API, Open AI API, Newsapi.org API and a web crawler I set up.

Every single headline published on the feed links back to the main source that it pulled the data from to neutralize.

I'm really excited about this product - I personally use it everyday!

There are many media bias platforms that do sophisticated measuring of political leanings of articles and news sources which also point out blind spots in media coverage when uncomfortable topics are not being covered by right or left. You should check them out.
Cooper Wrenn

@terrence_kelleman Thanks Terrance! I will definitely check them out - let me know if you can think of any ones you'd highly recommend I check out. Lately, I've been teaching myself how to code through mini-projects like this and I ended up finding this one very valuable, at-least to myself haha.

Are these media bias platforms using humans to do the scoring? Or how does this typically work for these?

Terrence Kelleman
@cooperwrenn ground news is one I know of, but there are others I can't remember.
Cooper Wrenn
@terrence_kelleman ground news looks great! Not exactly for the same use case as TrumpTracker tho. I have another product releasing tomorrow that will attach up to TrumpTracker and do some cool stuff — don’t wanna talk too much about it yet.
Robert Magrino

Rolling Stone? Really!

Cooper Wrenn

@rmagrino Rolling Stone? Could you clarify lol

Cooper Wrenn

@rmagrino Oh I see what you're talking about. Yes. We pull from a massive database of news sources, then our Ai neutralizes it before you see it. There may some really far leaning news sources that we use to collect data but that's okay because we fact check and neutralize everything before you see it.

Although, that's one thing I want to work on in the future - problem is there really is no "Neutral" human-ran news source out there... it's literally impossible for humans to write long-format and not include some sort of hidden bias. Most humans aren't aware of that.

Interesting approach. It’s definitely tough to find Trump-related news that doesn’t feel one-sided. Curious how well the AI handles nuance, though—sometimes bias is more about what’s left out than what’s said.
Shreyans Bhansali

Smart approach—but reframing without bias is tricky. How do you handle nuance in tone or implied bias that isn’t in the wording itself? Curious how the AI keeps from flattening complex stories.

Cooper Wrenn
@shreyans_assistiv hey Shreyans! Good question, our Ai system is pretty solid in the neutralization process and it also gives each headline shown a neutrality score based on certain conditions. Another way it neutralizes the text is by simplifying everything and focusing on facts and data. We take out all of the extra fluff and opinions within the text. If you try it out, when you press ‘refresh’ the system thinks for awhile before displaying anything — similar to how your o1 pro would. The best way to see how it works is by trying it and clicking off to the news source we pulled the info from.
