Hey Makers! New year, new project πŸ™ƒ - I always loved the model here and as the global workforce becomes more on-demand and remote it seems to make a lot of sense! Since leaving @producthunt and @angellist I've explored a few projects and as part of, we have seen many clients want to have community services as an ongoing setup. And seeing as my background was Community at Product Hunt... I thought surely I'm in a great position to build something! πŸš€ So we have launched Tribe. Which lets you fulfil all of your community needs with a team of community specialists. We take care of the legal, billing, process management, onboarding and vetting talent. This allows our community experts to focus on what they do best, building meaningful communities. The process of this product happens mostly after a company has enquired or talent has applied but we are building it as a custom solution in order to scale. We aim to match you with a community manager within 5 days. Inspired by the likes of Design Inc (rip), Andela, Design Cue, Zoe and many more who use this model. Let me know what you think! And if you know companies looking for community help, I'd love an intro πŸ€—

@producthunt @angellist @bentossell Awesome congrats on the launch! What stage startups are best suited to this service?
@abadesi Thanks! I don't want to seem naive by saying 'any stage' but actually we have already run community services from big clients like American Express all the way down to early-stage startups like Mira and others (still in stealth as part of The Upstarters) We're looking for more early-stage startup projects which is why we're here on PH!
@producthunt @angellist @bentossell Congrats Ben! I love the concept and would love to collaborate, as it seems we're both focused on empowering community leaders! :) It's so awesome that we launched and Tribe - 2 community projects in the same day! 2018 is all about communities.
@sharon_savariego thanks a lot! Haha yeah, it must be community-day on PH today!
@bentossell just curious, why are you more interested in more startup projects, instead of that of larger companies?
I love this! Do you have any nonprofit users and/or do you think Tribe would be a good fit for the nonprofit sector?
@adamfogle Thanks! We don't currently have any non-profit users. I think any company that needs to maintain meaningful community could be suitable for Tribe. Definitely interested in exploring this opportunity
@bentossell great! I'll reach out.
This is excellent @bentossell and I’m surprised you didn’t go this way sooner (makes so much sense in hindsight). Look forward to seeing this grow and will definitely be spruiking it in Aus πŸ‘ŒπŸ» kudos
@toddsoulas I think the same! As The Upstarters becomes a more full-service company for startups, there was ample demand for this setup so it was obvious that we needed to get it sorted. We've been building the processes in stealth over the last few months while actually providing community services to clients. It's working pretty well right now so we wanted to share it with the world. Firstly on Product Hunt of course!
@bentossell πŸ™ŒπŸ» community management is such an important part of any project and so many people don’t put enough effort or resources into it (either due to lack of understanding or caring). This is a step in the right direction for all.
@toddsoulas yeah I think Community can be either overlooked or not understood properly. But it is absolutely πŸ”‘
Such a great idea - well done Ben + team
@abasa thanks! reach out and we will be in touch :)
