We've all been there: you open Instagram to check a message from a friend but end up wasting an hour watching videos of alpacas.
Before you can open addictive apps, SpeedBump asks you how long you want to use them. The longer you choose, the longer the delay. Once time's up, it annoys you out with rain, dancing cats, and more – helping you stay intentional and accountable.

i have native stopper on insta and iphone screen time for other apps. so far they failed to work. the dopamine hit is too high to let it go. gonna try yours and see if i can be actually stopped this time!

@andrew_white_13 Let me know your thoughts! Although if you're using iPhone, the iOS version is still in the works. Once the Android version is stable we will release it :) We have a waitlist in the landing page in case you'd like to join it.

Too bad I uninstalled both LinkedIn and Instagram a few days ago 🙃 The reason was, of course, doomscrolling. I will try this out if I need a cure for brain rot in the future.

@aishwaryalohi I'm happy you found something that works! SpeedBump is a middle point for those who don't want to delete the app. Insta is nice for connecting with friends -- as long as you don't get stuck doomscrolling. Did you try any similar apps before?
