Hey PH Community! πŸ€— Big shoutout to @fabian_maume, @hamza_afzal_butt, @rohanrecommends, @ashwin_madhavan and everyone who has been a guiding light in getting our product onto Product Hunt just in time for the holidays. I’m super excited (and a bit nervous) to introduce Snoooz AI, a next-level Out-of-Office assistant. With Snoooz, you can now send personalized OOO messages and automatically copy backups on critical conversations or escalations. This ensures your valued (or noisy) customers get prompt attention, even when you are enjoying some well-deserved time off. 🌴 These responses can be personalized based on email sender, sentiment, language, urgency, and Snoooz can also pull account details like ARR, opportunity stage, and renewal dates straight from your CRM to tailor these replies for high-touch versus low-touch customers. As of now we integrate with Salesforce, but we have plans to expand to other CRMs such as Hubspot. We also get the struggle of dealing with post-vacation email follow-ups, so Snoooz takes care of labeling emails for you – marking those that have been handled and those needing your attention. In next few weeks we will be rolling out email summarization and categorization features, giving you the ability to prioritize, delegate, or snooze those emails according to your preferences. Our ultimate goal is to create a highly personalized out of office experience that benefits us all and allows us to fully relish our much-needed breaks. Life is too short not to embrace every moment and explore all it has to offer. πŸ–οΈ We are currently running a special promotion to celebrate our Product Hunt launch. Use the promo code "PH100" to receive a 100% discount for the full year. This coupon is only valid for first 100 users. We invite you to try Snoooz and share your thoughts and ideas. Your feedback will help us refine and perfect our out-of-office solution. Let's make this holiday season and every OOO moment truly stress-free! πŸ€—πŸŒŸ

With holiday season approaching is it important to think about how to handle email inquiries during vacations. Standard out of office email send the same reply to everyone, snoooz.ai allow you to go one step further: - root email to your backups person - personalise response base on the sender (SaleForce integration allow to handle differently big accounts) This is a really useful tool to maintain good customer service during the holiday period.

@fabian_maume must be nice meeting you

πŸ’‘ Bright idea
This is smart. Curious if you're planning to expand beyond OOO responses. While this serve as a useful wedge in an otherwise crowded market, vacation responders are used so infrequently.

@rrhoover, Ryan, thank you for your comment and for supporting our journey! Your insight is super valuableβ€”many individuals we've spoken to express a limited likelihood of using the Out of Office (OOO) feature frequently. To address this, we're exploring several options for experimentation while still maintaining our niche. For instance, one consideration is using the autoresponder beyond regular 9-5 office hours to handle customer inquiries, effectively supporting those who struggle with maintaining work-life boundaries. Additionally, people have highlighted the potential usefulness of this tool during longer absences (such as furloughs or layoffs) when individuals departing don't immediately provide new points of contact (POCs). I'd love to hear more of your thoughts on this matter!
Ryan Hoover
@victoria_dash that's a good idea and makes sense to instrument this across an entire organization (higher ACVs and more problems to solve). I'm also curious how the platform has evolved. I think you started a few years ago?
Victoria Dash
@rrhoover Yes, you are right! We've dedicated nearly 2 years to this project. Initially, it began as a personalized out-of-office (OOO) responder. However, as we delved deeper, we recognized prevalent issuesβ€”difficulties in securing coverage, automating repetitive tasks, sharing notes effectively with backups, and the time-consuming process of catching up on emails after returning from vacation. Through several discussions, we discovered that while there were tools for tracking vacation requests, none adequately addressed the challenges individuals faced after their vacation was approved. Recognizing this gap, we saw an opportunity to offer a solution. Hence, we embarked on this journey to create a complete OOO management solution

@victoria_dash nice! Thanks for sharing. :)

@rrhoover Thanks for commenting! Having the founder of PH engage with our post is a significant milestone for our team, making today feel particularly rewarding! ;)
This is cool, congrats! Since I use these responders a couple of times a year, I’m wondering if you’re able to use the same tech to recognize when a person has a busy schedule but doesn’t want to make people feel they are ghosted , hence it would a personalized note to mitigate that. At the same time, it would also do it for contacts and not for cold emails . Have you thought of something along those lines? That would be really cool!
Victoria Dash
@emna_ghariani1 Thanks, Emna, for your amazing points! Absolutely, you can set up rules within our system to avoid responding to mailing lists or cold emails. With our CRM integration, you can check whether a recipient is a lead/contact and tailor your response accordingly. Regarding your other question, within our tool, you can easily check whether recipients are currently in the office or out of the office, similar to a shared calendar feature. Your questions are fantastic! I highly encourage you to try our product and take advantage of our limited-time 100% free offer available now. Additionally, we can even schedule a free onboarding call for you. Let me know if you're interested!
@victoria_dash thank you Victoria ! I will give it a try!!

This is truly one of the forgotten areas of business- how don’t I fa get handled when I’m out. It seems like a great toll to help me manage my absence!
Victoria Dash
@disgruntled Thanks for your support Larry, you are absolutely right!

@victoria_dash My pleasure - you deserve it
Esus πŸ›‘οΈ
Congrats on your launch! Looks like an awesome (and welcome) use of AI.
Victoria Dash
@esus thank you! We've been diligently working to resolve this issue for some time now. Leveraging AI, we can detect email sentiment and tailor responses accordingly. There's a lot more in store for the next few months. We kindly request you to try our product this holiday season and share your feedback. Your input will help us enhance the product, enabling all of us to benefit from a more intelligent out-of-office assistant managing our work matters while we enjoy our time off.
Fabian Sattler
That sounds like a good product. Especially when I'm on holiday, the automatic out-of-office messages don't always work very well. I've taken a closer look at your service and am impressed. It's user-friendly and easy to understand. The integration with Gmail is also very simple. I can create templates for different cases, giving me more leeway. I can also imagine using this product in our own office, but we would need the possibility to add other email services. Because often companies have their own email servers running. But all in all, it is a great product with a lot of potential.
Victoria Dash
@fabian_sattler Thank you, Fabian, for your fantastic comment! Indeed, we've dedicated almost two years to this project, engaging with users like yourself, understanding the OOO challenges, and crafting a user-friendly tool aimed at enhancing the overall Out-of-Office experience. Your positive feedback reassures us that we're moving in the right direction :) We have an ambitious roadmap ahead, including the addition of Outlook integration and several other AI-related features.
