My story (and why I built SharpSkill) I’m a freelance tech consultant. Between two client missions, there’s always the same stressful moment: the interview prep. You have 24–48 hours to refresh a technology, remember fundamentals, and somehow sound sharp and confident in front of a client. But every existing tool I found was either: • too algorithmic (LeetCode, HackerEarth), • too academic, • deprecated, • or simply not aligned with real-world interviews. In consulting interviews, we don’t do FAANG-style whiteboard puzzles. Clients expect something else: a practical discussion, architectural reasoning, fundamentals, and the ability to explain trade-offs clearly. No tool helped me prepare fast and credibly for that. So I created my own preparation workflow: realistic interview simulations, flashcards, and technical tests that feel like actual client assessments. It helped me land missions at 600€/day with far less stress. That personal workflow became SharpSkill. A focused, no-bullshit platform for developers who want to prepare efficiently, not spend weeks grinding algorithms. SharpSkill now offers: • Interview simulators (HR + technical) inspired by real client missions • Flashcards to quickly refresh a tech stack • Technical tests No long courses. No filler content. Just the essentials you need to sound sharp, structured, and credible during a client interview. This project started from a personal need. Now I’d love your feedback to make it the best preparation tool for tech developers. Happy to answer every question here.

Anthony, focusing on client interviews instead of FAANG puzzles fills a real gap for freelancers. How often are the simulators and flashcards updated to reflect current consulting trends?

My co-founder is recruiter and runs technical interviews every week for consulting clients and tracks the patterns and questions that appear repeatedly. I’m also on mission and regularly interview developers myself, so we see first-hand what companies expect today.

We merge all this into monthly updates to ensure the content reflects current consulting realities. And as we scale with our upcoming partnerships, it will become easier to capture new interview questions at high volume and refresh the content continuously.

Thanks for your message, really appreciate it.

Thanks for explaining—having a recruiter co‑founder and interviewing weekly gives SharpSkill a real‑time edge.

I’ve got a small tweak idea based on what you shared—something you could try on your own to make those monthly updates even more actionable for users.

If you’re open to suggestions, where’s best to share it? Email or another platform works.

Either way, keep up the great work.
