Nice! I've been looking for this since seeing Buffer use something similar. Good stuff Noah.

@DavidSpinks Awesome David. Glad you like it. Chad / Eric & Damian on the team have been working their asses off to launch new apps.

Noah, really impressed w/ how you guys have pivoted Appsumo to be aligned with the needs of your customers. Other startups err mean businesses should take note. Are these plugins good for WP only? Also any plans to offer something similar to -> http://backlinko.com/increase-co... (especially the content upgrade functionality)

@BlendahTom Hey Tom. Thanks for the question. You can use Scroll Box on ANY website. Yea, check out the Leads app in the Sumo Store.

@maccaw created SubList, a tool that presents a similar email subscription CTA as Scroll Box but it also distributes each new blog post to all subscribers via RSS (which is useful if you want a hands-off tool but not if you want to send more personalized emails that you control).

Not trying to be a hater, but as a designer these boxes make me cringe. Can't there be a more tasteful way to accomplish the same goals? I mean look at this:

@nbashaw but they work, apparently. I think the scroll up after you've been reading for a while is one of the most tasteful approaches I've seen. The reality is, often the less annoying it is, the less it works (to collect emails).

@DavidSpinks That's what they said about click-bait headlines too. What some people fail to realize is that you can do things that make your numbers go up with cheap tactics in short term while ruining your brand and credibility in the long term. People eventually wise up and the tactic stops working. I love @borthwick's analysis of this in his recent essay, "You gotta read this!": https://medium.com/makers-perspe...
Brian Balfour@bbalfour
@nbashaw They definitely work. I've used them on my blog for over a year. hundreds of thousands of visits I've only received one complaint ever. In fact, I've received more compliments than complaints because I use some what cheeky copy.

@bbalfour Did you literally get done with your presentation at the 500 growth conference and head to ProductHunt? :)
Osman@osmanify · Growth and product.
@nbashaw I agree, these do look a bit plain. I added a scroll triggered box to our blog and it's worked very well, but I think a decent design is key.
