Maker here! πŸ‘‹ Built this after realizing I was manually running the same Claude prompts every single day. I started using Claude Code to summarize my Obsidian notes, but needed it to run every day. I built this for myself and productized it for your benefit. It's free, runs locally, and doesn't require a sign up. Have at it: https://runclauderun.com Quick answers to expected questions: πŸ’» macOS only for now πŸ”’ 100% local - Uses your Claude Code and the app stores all of its logs and configuration locally (you're responsible for backups) πŸ†“ Why free? - I wanted to build something and I want people to use it. Maybe I'll add some premium features or maybe you'll buy some other products. Pro tip: Combine with Claude's MCP integrations to schedule actions across different tools - Slack summaries, GitHub PR reviews, database reports, etc... Would love to hear what repetitive tasks you'd automate with Claude Code and runCLAUDErun! Drop your use cases below πŸ‘‡

Yo sounds really cool! I'm gonna test it rn and then leave review! Good luck with the launch! @williamwnekowicz

@igor_martinyukΒ Thanks Igor. Nice work on your project. Impressive at your age; looking forward to seeing everything you build.

clever! Turning Claude CLI into a scheduled automation tool feels like a glimpse of future AI ops right on the desktop.

William Wnekowicz

@roozbehfirouzΒ powerful for devs and those who know how to use it, but definitely something coming to the masses soon.

This is brilliant. Automating Claude Code tasks on macOS is such a niche yet powerful idea. Perfect for devs using Claude daily - congrats on shipping!

William Wnekowicz

@vladimir_lugovskyΒ Thanks! Have you tried it?

Vladimir Lugovsky

@williamwnekowiczΒ not yet, I shared it with my dev team who use Claude Code daily.

Yoooo this is awesome! Congrats on the launch!

What are some potential use cases for this? Would be cool if there's a use case library where I can browse how other people are using this so I can get some inspirations for automation

William Wnekowicz

@kevinzhuang10Β totally agree! I'm waiting to hear feedback from users on how they want to use it and then will bake together a library / templates.

My main use cases:
1. Summarize my daily Obsidian notes. I now just write stream of consciousness notes and let Claude Code summarize / organize them.
2. Pull PR / mentions from the web for this project (!) and other projects weekly
3. Auto-post Sora videos, lol. AI slop is AI slop.

But Claude Code can do or integrate with anything and this project just helps you robustly schedule whatever you want to make it do.

Hey @williamwnekowicz Love this app! I have several mcp servers configured and working but prompts run through runclauderun don't seem to be aware these exist. But I can see you have MCPs running via runclauderun through the comments. Any advice? Thanks!
