Traditional tools like Excel-based modeling, Python notebooks, and platforms like Bloomberg or other financial data tools were options. However, they require significant time, technical expertise, and switching between multiple tools. R0Y stands out by combining everything into one intuitive, no-code interface, making it faster and more efficient.
R0Y
We built R0Y because serious investing and economic analysis is still broken.
The tools are powerful—but fragmented, expensive, and slow. You’re bouncing between platforms, stitching together data, or writing code just to answer a simple question.
There’s no real workspace. No fluid way to think, test, and build.
R0Y fixes that.
You just describe what you want. A strategy, a model, a dashboard—it builds it instantly. Live market + macro data, projections, visuals, all in one place.
It’s a sandbox for finance. You can experiment, break things, refine ideas, and collaborate with your team in real time. Share it, clone it, evolve it.
We wanted it to feel like thinking freely—but with institutional-grade data and execution behind it.
Would love your takes, espcially onwhat would make this 10x more powerful for you? Along with any questions you may have.

Congrats on the launch! This is genuinely impressive - the speed at which you're generating interactive dashboards from natural language queries sounds like a game-changer for non-technical investors. I'm curious about your data freshness and update frequency. When someone asks for a backtest or projection, how real-time are the underlying data sources, and can users set custom refresh intervals for their specific use cases?
Pretty cool! If two users ask the same query, will roy generate identical dashboards or personalized ones based on context or history??
R0Y
@lak7 Hey!! Thanks for the comment, all dashboards are generated completely different, and tailored towards the users. If the query is very simple, like "show stock chart" then there will be more similarities.
Honest question: when a financial model is wrong, how does a team trace what R0Y built and why? Provenance at scale matters for anything touching real money.
R0Y
@mykola_kondratiuk Great question! So R0Y tracks everything it creates from, data sources, to code and original prompt. Whenever a financial model is created, theres sections of the dashboard that show each input, and formula. If a model is incorrect, you can trace it step by step, or our models will self correct with our debug fallback.
solid - tracking data source + original prompt is the part that matters, not just what executed.
Backtests is doing a lot of heavy lifting in that feature list. What's the actual data depth — if I'm testing a macro rotation strategy, can I go back 30+ years across multiple rate cycles, or is this more recent market data? The quality of a backtest lives and dies on how far back and how clean the data is.
Is this something a retail investor could/would use? Primarily interested in stocks, etfs, and crypto.

Cool Bryan! VCs and Angels gonna love you. They currently deal with where investing but you're clarifying the way founders will present their deck. So, life should be a little bit easier for those! Congrats on the launch!!
