Nifty is a new-wave project management tool that reduces project development cycles and improves team productivity by combining collaboration, communication, and automation. Imagine Asana, Slack, & Trello in one truly collaborative workspace!
I really want to like this PM and possibly leave Flow, but how do you justify $79/month when it's beyond limited. No iOS app, no Mac app, no duplicating tasks, etc., I understand it's BETA, but how does someone justify the price for such a limited tool?Pros:
No iOS/Mobile App, no Mac/PC app, no integrations, simple items missing
Really wanted to love this as the functionality would meet a bunch of my needs, but the execution just doesn't match the expectation set by the branding.
Setting styles in the Doc feature is just plain busted. Closing edited docs doesn't always save, with no button to force a save, therefore creating confusion.
The bottom nav layout is awesome, because it's got all things within easy reach - granular tasks, high level overview and all the rest.
Overall, underwhelmed by this and kinda sad it didn't meet the needs I thought it would.Pros:
UI and layout looks slickCons:
Lots of bugs, formatting docs doesn't work well (if at all) and sometimes things don't save.
Found Nifty as the first search result in Project Management apps in PH. My colleagues were looking at workep but the reason we found Nifty's upperhand was the Group Discussion and Chat widget in-app. UI is amazing, Very User friendly. Love it.Pros:
Simple AF, have used a ton of PM apps for our startup. All were too complicated. Nifty did not took us more than a min to get familiarized.Cons:
Came across a bug while registering. Most of my invitee team members could not sign up due to a bug. So not sure, if it is stable.
Was a great tool that I started to work with and it promised a lot for a free user - I currently do one or two projects every couple of months but will be doing many more soon so a free account that could naturally migrate to paid as my business grows was cool. I tried adding a guest user to a project today to find out that the developer has decided to not allow this for basic users anymore despite no emails, no tweets, even the website still saying that you can invite unlimited guests. The app is plagued by being incredibly slow and buggy but I was willing to put up with this as the service grew but definitely not the quality and reliability that I would expect from a paid tool at this stage. Just can't stand their approach to communication (or lack thereof) and how they seem to think they can just treat users with little regard.Pros:
Logical layouts and neat looking roadmap toolsCons:
no more guests on free account - buggy and slow - google drive integration seldom works.
