Mute is a calm, spatial board for everything in your head. Brain-dump it, sort it, feel the relief. Do this first then jump into your tools like trello, clickup, notion. I made this tool becuase i needed it, i use it every day, i hope others get good use out of it.

@vrlord Watched your video explainer. There's been this thing I've always tried to articulate and it is that software/data/code tends to live in SQL db's, tables, blob objects, arrays, etc. structured data. But the brain is not like that at all, it is clusters of synapses firing. Like, even a noSQL db doesn't really get us close to how the brain sorts and processes data.
I think you're really getting close to visualizing how the brain (or at least my brain) likes to focus.
I think this could also be an amazing ux for how we manage desktop layouts (it's 2026 why is Windows and Mac OS desktop still a grid of folders and files haha).
I particularly like how you quantify the reduced mental load factor - that's something I really struggle with is actually quantifying the benefit of my productivity tactics.
There's something refreshingly fluid about that that other productivity apps seriously lack since they are still very Kanban/trello/grid-like.

@james_effarah1 James, this comments means alot to me, I have only built this really just for how i thought my brain works. I find it super hard too have list and tasks as things and my attention move alot.
Using this i can put them in front of me, know they are there and attack them when im ready.
I know its not perfect, but ive found it to be really good for my workflow. I am experimenting with another verison where its blocks floating around and they stack as well.
One missing part that i want to work on is momentum. I use clickup everyday and get alot done, i like the feeling of completing a task, but then what, there is nothing showing me that ive completed 20 tasks, they just come and go. I would love to find a way to make it mean something.
Anyway, thanks for making my day. We are sitting at 40 users with this launch, i have a big magic link problem im fixing but i would love to get people that love this into a discord chat so i can get some real feedback and improve it.
MUTE for me, isnt about making money, i just want the best product. I am going to charge after the 50 users, purley so i can pay for a designer to make it even better.https://discord.gg/a5f6QgrT

@vrlord
なるほど、ありがとうございます。
何でもかんでも入力したら忘れてしまって、頭の中をmuteできるということですね!
グラフィカルで動的なマインドマップ、ですね。

Thanks to our first 50 signups, with all the love we are getting ive made 50 more spots avaialble, so 100 users, to give me feedback and make it amazing, then i will charge for the users after that.
For those using it, thank you so much! I am bringing in new experiences, The nest is targeting at of a flat lay desk experience not as crazy. I am also experiementing with a blob experince which is a pain in the arse, but could be cool.
I just love the idea of a tool that is there to help you be organised before you jump into the work. Like sharpening the axe.
Blog experenece below, needs love.
