MindBeats

Focus music adapted to your emotional state.

MindBeats analyzes your voice to detect your mood (Happy, Sad, Neutral) and generates a personalized instrumental session. It uses emotion regulation logic: we don't mirror your mood, we balance it to help you focus.

Hi Hunters! 👋 Maker from Portugal here. Note: This is a public MVP built during exam season. Expect bugs, but also expect focus! I'm a physics engineering student currently in exam season. 📚 I built MindBeats because I couldn't focus with standard playlists. They were either too distracting or didn't match how I was feeling. I realized my voice was the fastest way to input my state. So, I built an engine that listens to a 5-second voice check-in to detect your current mood (Happy, Sad, Angry, or Neutral). Instead of just matching your mood (e.g., playing sad music when you are sad), MindBeats uses regulation logic to help you study: Feeling Low/Sad? -> Uplifting, steady rhythms. Feeling Hyper/Angry? -> Calming, deep flow tracks. Feeling Neutral? -> Pure focus maintenance. It’s free to use and designed to reduce friction before study sessions. I’d love your feedback: Does the "Emotion Regulation" approach work for you? How accurate did the voice analysis feel? Thanks for the support! 🎧
