Introducing MarqueeKit—a straightforward tool for adding smooth, scrollable image marquees to any website using just HTML and JavaScript. Lightweight and customizable, MarqueeKit integrates effortlessly, bringing static images to life with minimal setup.
Hello all,
First of all, I really appreciate you taking the time to look through this project. It's near and dear to my heart and this is my first launch on product hunt, so needless to say, I'm excited.
Now, getting into the nitty gritty: The reason why I made this project is because while I was developing websites, I found image marquees needlessly hard to integrate and create every single time.
Even AI couldn't kept on giving me bad solutions. However, after learning the way of the marquee, I figured it would be great to share an easy solution with other developers.
I hope you like the look of the website!
Here's some future plans too:
1. Fade effects
2. React support
3. More templates
I'm super open to feedback and any words of wisdom or ridicule. Thanks so much for reading. Safe travels on your adventures.

@keanedwards_ As an indie developer this is beautiful. I was actually just trying to create something like this. Wish I could just know how it works.
I have suffered this, it would be cool if you create add ons for regular CMSs like wordpress, shopfiy etc, i think you can get a bigger chunk of the market that way
@rupgo Hey Ruben! That's Honestly such a smart idea, I would love to be able to expand to the larger developer community in that way - wordpress and shopify were on my mind - I feel like that would be a great market for this.
@keanedwards_ indeed! plus they already have an enormous community so instead of being a store in the middle of the dessert, you become notice on the busiests of streets ;)
@simonfits_ thanks for the kind words! I've been considering it, it seems like maybe $49 is too much to pay for a kit to make marquees? Not quite sure, we'll see.

💡 Bright idea
Love it! I have to ask tho, is it possible to use this in framer ?
@redcore hey! That’s a great question, thanks so much for bringing this to my attention, you just inspired me to add this to framer—I’d never used it before, but I’ll add it in the next day lol

@keanedwards_ I think it will help a lot for further reach, please keep us updated, i wanna use this for my portfolio lol
@redcore Hey! Alright, I'll make that the first thing on my list today, it's a little more challenging because framer is mostly in react, so I may have to translate the code, but I'm up for it, I'll keep you posted !

@keanedwards_ it will be worth it! Looking forward to it
@redcore Hey, it looks like it's going to take a little more than one day to develop a plugin on framer, they're very restrictive with what methods they allow, and they don't offer a lot themselves. I'll keep working on it though.

Congrats on the launch! MarqueeKit looks like a handy tool for adding engaging image marquees. What's your favorite feature so far?
@ihuzaifashoukat Hey, thanks so much :) My favorite feature that I've adding so far is a nice staggered on-load animation. I really like the project that you have in the works too! It looks like a great tool for creating contact on the fly -- I'll make sure to check it out once it's launched.
