Many of those apps/solutions already exist. What's unique about Latch?

Using a number of steps as the key is a clever option for when you don't want to stick anything on the fridge. If I pick steps, do steps I already walked earlier in the day count, or only the ones taken after I try to open a blocked app?

What if I lose the NFC sticker? Can I pair a new one without being unlocked already?

id put mine by the front door honestly, so unlocking means i have to actually get up and walk there
