👋 Hey folks! We've been building Laso, a tool designed to take the grind out of repetitive tasks in Jira by using AI-powered custom fields. As a product manager, I’ve felt firsthand the frustration of manual processes of capturing and updating information in Jira, so I set out to create a solution that makes life easier for teams. With Laso, you can: ✍️ Automatically generate tailored release notes for your audience directly from Jira data. 🔍 Extract insights from customer feedback to categorise data or extract insights. 📝 Summarize linked tickets into concise descriptions 🎯 Auto-format data to follow specific templates Whether you're a product manager, developer, or part of any team working in Jira, Laso can save you time, reduce manual work, and ensure consistent, clear communication across your organisation. We’re constantly experimenting with new ways to help teams delegate more tasks to AI and would love your thoughts! I’m here to answer any questions, hear your feedback, or explore how Laso can fit into your workflow. Let’s make your workday smoother—one AI field at a time! 🚀 For 10 power users, we have a great offer to receive three months free of charge.

@masump Thank you for your kind words 🎉 We are currently exploring prioritisation as part of our use cases. With Laso, you can set custom instructions to utilise ticket-specific information or connected ticket information in order to generate prioritisation recommendations, along with the rationale behind them. We’re also enhancing the ‘Product Memory’ feature to accept additional files for improved results. I encourage you to try it out and share your feedback - I'd love to collaborate on refining it for your needs!

@hamza_afzal_butt Thank you for your thoughtful feedback and kind wishes! 😊 That’s an interesting use case we haven’t explored in depth yet. However, you could configure a Laso field to analyse description data and flag gaps or questions based on your organisational standards - especially if those standards are provided as input. If you or others decide to explore this further, we would love to collaborate and refine it to deliver even better results!

Hey how do you ensure data accuracy when summarizing linked tickets, especially in complex projects with nuanced dependencies? Misinterpretations could lead to errors in communication.
Yan Shtefanets
@yatheen_brahma Great question! To ensure accuracy, we’ve built multiple levels of control into Laso. First, you can define specific instructions for each Laso AI field that are tailored to your needs. Second, you can fine-tune the context by selecting what information to include as input -such as descriptions + comments or custom fields + ticket title - and control the output format. Finally, you can manually refine results or use AI adjustments for better precision. We’re also working on insights to help you assess result quality and optimise instructions. This should make it easier to achieve reliable outputs for complex projects. Let me know if this helps!
