Hey Product Hunt! Someone lands on your website, checks out your work, and has a question. Make it easy for them to ask.
With Knocket, you can:
• Add a free chat widget to your website or app
• Create a personal contact page to share anywhere
• Let visitors message you without creating an account
Got a website? Add the widget. No website yet? Start with a contact page.
We’d love to hear what you think!
Congrats on the launch 🎉 Glad I got to be part of this one.
It's not a complicated product, but it's a genuinely interesting one — it packs a handful of things you'll actually use into one place, and hands them to you in the simplest, most direct way it can.
Would there be any analysis after chatting on website?
@jackinlearning96 We currently support AI usage analytics, including response times and human handoffs. The full workflow you described, from identifying user feedback trends to triggering your coding agent and notifying customers, isn't supported yet. Thanks for the suggestion!
@shuoxinwang would that make actions afterwards? For example, if i know some trends from the user chatting, can your product give me some signs to my coding agent to develop features and inform my clients on time?
@jackinlearning96 Ah, I see what you mean, Jack! We support conversation summaries and usage stats today. The full workflow you described—passing feedback to your coding agent and notifying customers when features ship—isn’t built in yet. Thanks for the suggestion!
Could the Contact Page be used as the support link in a GitHub README?
@quinnxie Yep! Just add your Contact Page link to the README. People can message you from there without signing up, and you can reply right from Telegram.
Can the chat language follow the visitor’s browser setting?
@sarahjiang Hi Sarah! Not supported at the moment, but we expect to release the language translation feature in next month’s update. Stay tuned!
Congrats! Can I leave notes for my own teammate?
@jojo_li Thanks! Not yet. We don’t currently support internal notes for teammates, but it’s a useful idea and something we’re considering for team collaboration.
@jojo_li Hi Jojo, maybe you can leave a message in the Notes section of a specific conversation in the inbox. It’s also a good way to add remarks to a conversation ~
does the bio link contact page show up as a normal chat on the visitor's phone, or do they get a separate mini app?
@neerajnathany It opens as a regular mobile web page with a built-in chat, so visitors can start chatting right from their browser. No separate app to install and no signup needed. Just tap the link and start a conversation!
@neerajnathany
Just like this picture ~ a web page with a built-in chat !
A list of repeated questions could be useful for improving the docs.
@abby_mao1 Great suggestion, and it lines up with what we're already planning. In upcoming releases, we'll be adding AI support to the inbox, and this is one of the things it'll be able to do.
@abby_mao1 Exactly! Identifying frequently asked questions can help teams improve their docs and knowledge base. We're planning to bring AI capabilities to Inbox conversations, which could help surface these insights automatically in the future. Thanks for the suggestion!
