PitchBook and Crunchbase will charge you thousands to even touch their APIs. Fundable gives you an API key on signup, no credit card need, and you can buy credits as you go (first 200 credits are on us).

How fresh is the funding data compared to something like Crunchbase, do you catch rounds earlier? Congrats on the launch!

@mcarmonas thanks Marti - we are pulling from thousands of news + social sources to pull the latest funding data and will often have data updated on the site within 60-minutes of publishing.
Other sources have a more manual deal sourcing process + leverage less news sources so likely will report hours to days later.
Definitely going to have to play about with this when I get a moment, data like this is really valuable for multiple reasons with the work I do - if it means I don't have to fight with Crunchbase I will definitely be an avid user!
Love the 'pay as you go' credit model. It's a game-changer for indie hackers who don't have venture backing yet. Definitely going to test this out for my next project. Great work, team
