Followers Games turns Twitter growth into a fun, engaging experience. Set personalized goals, track your progress with intuitive charts, and unlock achievements along the way. Join me in this journey and make growing your Twitter following a game you’ll love!
Hello PH! 👋
I’m Jérémy, a software engineer with over a decade of experience, now venturing into solopreneurship. I built Followers Games to make Twitter growth more engaging and fun—both for myself and for others who enjoy turning challenges into opportunities.
## Why did I build this?
As someone who values growth and learning, I wanted a tool that made tracking my Twitter progress feel less like work and more like play. Followers Games lets you set weekly goals, visualize your progress, and celebrate milestones with achievements.
## What’s next?
I’m committed to continuously improving Followers Games based on your feedback. This is just the beginning, and I’m excited to share this journey with all of you.
👉 Join me on this adventure! Try out Followers Games today and let me know what you think. I’d love to hear your feedback, suggestions, and ideas for future features.
P.S. Don’t forget to follow me on Twitter for more insights, updates, and behind-the-scenes content. Let’s grow together! 🚀

Should be fun but does it really help grow followers or just add another thing to check, what's the big idea behind using games to boost social media, have you thought about ways to integrate it with other platforms too?
Yes, it’s definitely another thing to check (until I implement the notifications ^^), but I’ve found it really helpful for keeping myself motivated and on track with my goals to grow my follower count, especially when setting a goal for the number of posts each week. Honestly, the "posting" goal has been the most useful for me so far (compared to the followers one).
This is just an MVP of what I’m planning and I want to add more gamification features like friendly competitions (battles, leaderboards, etc.), notifications, and tips based on your past behavior.
For example, if you often "forget" to post on weekends, but gain more followers when you do, I could set up a "challenge" to earn more XP or unlock an achievement pushing you to post on Saturdays and Sundays...
These are just some ideas I’m brainstorming on my own, but I wanted to get the tool out there and gather feedback to make sure it’s something that can really help others too.
As for other platforms, I’ve definitely thought about it!
That’s why I called it followers.games and not twitter.games.
But since this is a solo side project and a free tool, I’m focusing on X (Twitter) for now.
And I really appreciate getting a real, honest review, sometimes I feel like I’m mostly responding to AI-generated comments!
Thanks for the thoughtful feedback @aiguideben!

Congrats on the launch, but honestly turning Twitter growth into a game seems like it's missing the point, social media should be about meaningful connections, not just numbers and achievements, this might lead to more superficial interactions, which isn't great for the platform overall
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, and I really appreciate your honest feedback.
I completely agree that social media should be about meaningful connections.
The goal of Followers Games isn’t to detract from that, but rather to add a fun, motivational layer for those who enjoy setting personal goals and tracking their progress.
A lot of people on social media, especially on X, are also here to build an audience for their business or personal brand and Most of them have goals in their minds (whether it’s the number of posts they want to make or the number of followers they hope to reach).
For these users, tools like this (I think) can help maintain consistency and make the process a bit more enjoyable.
The friendly competitions, leaderboards, and challenges I’m planning will be designed to encourage thoughtful engagement and creativity, rather than superficial interactions or at least I will try to do so now.
I’m still in the early stages, and your feedback is incredibly valuable in helping me strike the right balance.
The last thing I want is to contribute to superficiality on the platform, so I’ll be keeping your concerns in mind as I continue to develop the tool.
Thanks again for taking the time to share your perspective @salesforceguru2023, I’m genuinely grateful for it!
I chose 'Followers Games' to keep the door open for adding other platforms in the future, but you're right, 'X Followers Game' definitely fits the current focus!
I might use subdomains for each platform as I open up to new ones.
Thanks for the support!

So we're turning Twitter growth into a game now? not sure if that's what people need, what about addressing the problem of fake followers instead, maybe there's a way to incentivize genuine engagement 👀
Thanks for your feedback @nuclearnavigator! I understand your concern, fake followers and genuine engagement are definitely important issues (and a big one on X), but they’re a whole different challenge that some tools are already tackling (I think).
With Followers Games, my aim is just to add a fun, motivational layer for those who enjoy setting personal goals and tracking their progress.
A lot of people on X use the platform professionally to build audience for their business or personal brand, and this tool is meant to encourage consistency and creativity in that context (but not only).
I really appreciate your thoughts and will keep them in mind as I continue to develop the tool!

So I came across this new tool while scrolling through Twitter, and I'm not really convinced it’s turning Twitter into a game is the best idea, sure setting goals and tracking achievements sounds cool but does getting followers need to be gamified?
I feel like it could make things too competitive instead of focusing on meaningful interactions, do you think adding more social features like collabs or community building aspects would make it better?
I totally get the concern about turning Twitter into a game and potentially making it too competitive, which might detract from meaningful interactions.
The idea behind Followers Games is to add a bit of fun and motivation for those who like setting goals and tracking their progress, especially for people using Twitter to build their personal brand or business.
That said, your feedback make me consider adding more features that focus on things like the number of likes, engagement, or even collaborations, rather than just follower count.
This tool is still in its very early stages, and feedback like yours is incredibly valuable. It helps me stay aware of concerns like this.
Thanks again for sharing your thoughts @reactdevguru!

launching a game to boost your twitter presence could be fun, but will it really make meaningful connections? maybe add features that help people actually engage with their followers instead of just chasing numbers, thoughts?
Thank you for your comment, this is something that a lot of people have raised here and on X, and I’m fully aware of the concern now (I did not see it that way while developing this tool for me).
The goal with Followers Games was initially to create a fun, motivational way to track growth, but I completely agree that meaningful connections should be a big part of that.
It’s a great idea to add features that help people engage more deeply with their followers, and I’m now thinking about how to incorporate something like that in a way that stays true to the gamified concept.
Maybe it’s a achievement that rewards meaningful interactions with followers or encourages real conversations (but it will be technically difficult I think).
I’ll definitely be exploring this further and I am open to any ideas.
Thanks again for bringing it up, it’s exactly the kind of feedback that helps shape the future of the tool!
