Hi guys! I'm excited to launch my first project on Product Hunt. It's been amazing for my productivity as I initially created it for myself to help focus at my first real desk job, and I hope that some others out there find it useful as well. I've been building Dot Focus for roughly a month on the side, and I'm proud of what I have so far. It was created, in part inspired by some other sites out there (Lofi Club, Lofi Cafe, and my favorite, plaza.one), but I thought I could add some additional features - for example, multiple genres of music, high quality ambient sounds, and a suite of basic productivity tools. And this is all curated music and sounds - I like the fact that I'm not just hitting a live YouTube stream, like many other alternatives - although I've enjoyed that as well. Oh, and if you enjoyed MenuBarX from another Product Hunt launch this week, try it out with Dot Focus - I've found it super useful to be able to pop in and out and see my notes and lists easily, or change music. I like the fact the app has different tools like the timer, notes, etc. Makes it a well-rounded and pretty much all-inclusive app :)

Great idea! Is there a way to adjust the volume of each of the sounds independently?

@gourmet Nope, not yet. I'm working on figuring out how to get that to go with the UI soon. The best option is to just adjust your computer volume separately and combine that with adjusting the music volume. Hopefully I can get that feature included soon!
