This release is about getting files out of your Mac: to other people, off a full disk, and in from your iPhone.
Send a file as a link
Select a file, choose Share Link, and DockDuck gives you a link to send to anyone. They open it in any browser, with no app and no account. The file is encrypted on your Mac before it leaves, so nobody else can read it, not even us. A link holds up to 2 GB, and several files or a folder travel as one zip.
Thanks for the thorough review, Gal, this is exactly the kind of feedback that's useful. On the credentials point: you're right that it's not documented, and it should be. The short version is that saved server passwords are standard macOS Keychain items (visible in Keychain Access under app.dockduck.server, when-unlocked accessibility), and the password is never written into app preferences alongside the host/user metadata, saving it is optional, too. I'll add a proper line about this to the docs/FAQ so it doesn't take a reply thread to find out. Appreciate the vs-Electron comparison as well; instant-open and smooth big-folder scrolling are the two benchmarks I test against every release.
