DockDuck 1.1.11 is out 🎉
This release shows you everything DockDuck did to your files, with Undo, lets you look inside zip files without unpacking them, and dresses your Dock for Christmas.

Activity
Find it in the sidebar below Recents. Every copy, move, rename, trip to the Trash, new folder, tag and lock is listed by day in plain words, with who did it: you, a folder rule or an AI agent. Click the arrow on a row to see its files, where they were and where they went. Show takes you to them, and Undo puts them back, even days later and after quitting DockDuck. Filter by Deleted, Rules, AI Agents or Problems, or search by file name.

Look inside zip files without unpacking
Double-click a zip, rar, 7z or tar file and it opens like a folder. Browse it, preview a file with Space, open it, copy it or drag it anywhere, and only that file comes out. Extract All unpacks everything as before. Nothing inside can be renamed, moved or deleted, so looking never changes the archive.

Christmas icons
From November 2 to January 15 your Dock wears the season's icon: Santa, the reindeer or the snowman, picked in Settings, Appearance. Not your thing? Turn off Seasonal icons and DockDuck keeps your own icon.

A slim Drawer button
Choose Slim in Settings, General, or from the button's right-click menu: a narrow tab against the edge of the screen that opens out to the duck when you point at it. Drag it up or down the edge to put it where you like, and the Drawer slides out beside it.
Also new
- Get Info tells what happened to a file, such as Moved here from Downloads or Renamed from scan.pdf, with who did it and when.
- Card offloads and phone imports get a receipt in Activity, with Export PDF.
- The tab you are on stands out with a thin ring in your accent color.
- Move through the Drawer with the keyboard: arrows, Return and Space for Quick Look.
Fixed
- Show in Finder from Safari and other apps works with DockDuck.
- Dropping a file on a folder's icon moves it into the folder.
- Columns shows new folders and files right away.
- A folder you are in follows you when it moves.
- Dragging a file into another app, such as Dropover, no longer sends it to the Trash.
- Dragging a file out of a zip works everywhere in DockDuck.
- Photos show up as soon as you stop scrolling, and big folders stay smooth when files come and go.
- Your own shortcuts on Tab, the arrows or the F keys work, and Option-Command with a number goes where you set it.
- A cloud folder in Favorites stays there after a restart.
- And many smaller fixes, in all 19 languages.

What happens if I undo a move and another file now has the original name? I’d want a restore-as-copy option so neither file gets overwritten.
Hi @al_kub,
Nothing gets overwritten. If a file with the original name is already there, Undo keeps it and brings yours back beside it with "copy" added, like "Report copy.pdf", the way Finder names a duplicate. So you end up with both. A file that was renamed or moved since is still found, and Undo works from where it is now.
