👋 Tyler here, I'm the engineer that's been working with @treggify bringing Divinate to life. Divinate was born directly from my own previous attempts (and failures,) building SaaS products. I followed the classic route of building for WAY too long before talking to any potential users or even validating the problem I was solving. @treggify has done an incredible job designing Divinate's core workflow so it naturally encourages you to gather as much feedback from users as possible. You're then provided with tools to quickly distill that feedback into actionable, shareable insights. We've focused on supporting best practices in product research with some basic AI tooling such as transcription and summaries, but still leave you in charge of the important stuff. My favorite feature is our "summary" document, that provides a one pager that clearly outlines all your research findings for anyone who's not "in the weeds" with the whole process. (Very helpful for engineers/managers like myself.) We have so much more we want to build, but we're definitely at a spot where we need to gather more feedback and prioritize what's next. Such a fan of the approach, and ideas set in play here. There's clearly a gap in understanding how people behave, and witnessing doing their thing is of the utmost importance, and yet, commonly hard to detangle and find the nuggets of wisdom than one is looking for.
