Peer Richelsen

WOW what a ride. It's finally time for us to launch our native iOS and Android apps AND chrome, firefox and safari browser extensions.

this has been in the making for quiet some time and we're super excited to be the only **free** scheduling app with native apps in every store.

our goal has always been to deliver the best experience on any platform we launch and we finally found time and resources to invest in our mobile experience.

the first v1.0 launches today but you can be excited for widgets, live activities, push notifications coming up very soon!

let us know in the comments how you like the apps and what else is missing 🙏

the iOS Apps are using the latest liquid UI which looks and feels really neat, on Android we deliver a native Material Design look and feel and the browser extensions really fit in nicely as a sidekick in your daily browser usage.

we've added a ton of cool tricks in the extension, for example you can now inject your links into mail.google.com or mark people as "no-show" inside calendar.google.com

fun fact: Both mobile apps and browser extensions are built with the same codebase (expo + WXT, read more how we built it here: https://cal.com/blog/how-cal.com...)

i hope you are as equally excited as i am about this launch

Gabe Moronta

@peer_rich love cal.com and love this, been using for a couple of years now and this is so clutch!

Peer Richelsen

@mogabr aww thanks a ton!

Quinn

@peer_rich You all have done it again! So grateful for Cal for real. I mean, it was already easy and powerful to use on a browser, but now the iOS app takes it to a whole other level. You all are the best. Thank you!

Luca Martial

@peer_rich congrats!!

Greg Zen at StartupHeroics.com

@peer_rich I've used several of the calendar booking tools out there and by far Cal is my favorite! I do all my booking including through my coaching site for startup founders, and it works flawlessly every time. Kudos!

Gabe Perez

FINALLY - I had to do a double take to see if this was an official launch. Thank you @peer_rich & cal team for finally brining this to mobile TT__TT

Peer Richelsen

Vlad Nadymov

I discovered you guys a couple of years ago and Cal was one of the reasons for me to go build in OSS (let alone to forget about Calendly). Glad now it takes me less time to get my link while on the go

But – where's the dark theme? hahahahahah

Peer Richelsen

@vlad_nadymov LETS GOO glad you like it. yeah no darkmode yet. hopefully soon

tony
After recently setting up Cal for my startup and being surprised by how seamless the experience was, this mobile app was the missing piece. Congrats to the whole team!
Peer Richelsen

@tonyystef glad you like it! let us know if you think anything is missing

Zeiki Yu

Congrats on the launch! Love how Cal.com brings open, API-first scheduling infra to everyone—self-hosted or hosted—without sacrificing customization, privacy, or enterprise readiness.
