I built BuildState FM out of pure frustration as a property owner in Sydney.
We had maintenance issues that needed fixing, but everything moved at a glacial pace. Our property manager didn't have a dedicated maintenance team, and even if they wanted one, their system had no way to add or coordinate contractors. We spent weeks bouncing back and forth on emails and calls, only to get a rushed, bare-minimum inspection summary.
