Better Wiki is the biggest curated library of resources on People Ops: π Career ladders π» Remote work guides π Handbooks β Managerβs readmes β COVID-19 policies π€ Surveys πͺ Features: - 150+ resources - Editorβs comments and previews - Free, open source
Wow, it's very comprehensive! Are you planning to add new categories? For example, it would be very useful to read travel policies or hardware policies in different companies.
@adiatlov Alexander, thank you so much for your feedback about Better Wiki! For sure, we add new materials each and every week there (I'll add your vote for Policies as the next section)! Also, now it's built on Notion.so as MVP, but later we going to move it to blogging platform so it'll be easier for our readers to follow, search and rate the materials.
Holy frickin frick batman.
For a first time founder this is like a weight off of my shoulders.
Please, great and powerful makers, can we get this on a more easily navigable site? Maybe a different solution than Notion that is a bit more consumable.
@avery_schrader1 Holy guacamole! That's the spirit!
We're considering different solutions for the next version of Better Wiki. For now, top navigation quickly gets you to the resource and Notion search work well.
Thanks for such an awesome comment π
@antongolovchenko As I used it more, I found it easier to navigate around.
One thing that might be nice, if you click on a resource from the homepage (for example) it could take you directly to that resource.
@liana_avetian That's exactly why we created Better Wiki β to collect, organize and share useful knowledge in one place π― The product is live and updating every day βΒ for example, last 2 days we added 15 new great resources and Editor's choice feature. Check out our What's new page to feel our heartbeat π
Hello, fellow product hunters! πππ
Some people collect memes. I collect business practices that make work a better place.
Finding the right information on how to run your team or company can be a pain (especially for startups). So we did it for you: we spent over 1,000 hours selecting the most relevant, useful, and unique resources on People Operations.
Meet Better Wiki: a curated directory of best practices from great companies! It has more than 150 handbooks, remote work guides, career ladders, policies, manager readmes, and surveys that will make your work a better place.
Weβve read them all so you could pick exactly what you need.
π€ Also, we added highlights, snapshots, and in-depth reviews to each resource. Feels like a trailer for a movie recommended by a friend.
We created Better Wiki to empower Managers, HRs, Executives, Developers, and Designers in their daily work, to save your time and share the knowledge.
π If itβs worth knowing, itβs on Better Wiki.
π Better Wiki is crowdsourced and completely free for personal and commercial use (but if you really like what we do, support us on Patreon). We're growing every week, so you'll always have access to the best resources on People Operations.
We are so happy to join the community and eager to hear your feedback! π
Love, Anna

@anna_golovchenko kudos for putting together a great resource. I am not in people operations, but I love peeking at different company cultures. A special thank you for surfacing the Stripe's guide to culture for me π
