Invite stakeholders, clients, or a whole department to Basedash as view-only members. They can open the dashboards, saved charts, automations, and chat history you share with them, run saved charts, use dashboard filters and drilldowns, and export results. They can't create or edit anything, run automations, or chat. Pick the role in the invite dialog, member settings, the API, or an embed sign-in token. Share the numbers, not the edit button.

Today we're launching view-only members: a role for people who should see your data but never change it.
Until now, inviting your board, a client, or the whole sales team meant giving them a full seat. One stray rename or delete and someone's dashboard was different.
View-only members can open the dashboards, saved charts, automations, and chat history you share with them. They can run saved charts, use dashboard filters and drilldowns, and export results. They can't create or edit anything, run automations, or chat. The role is a ceiling on sharing, so even a Full access grant behaves like Can view, and promoting them back to Member restores what they had.
You can pick it in the invite dialog, member settings, the public API, or an embed sign-in token. And Share now works inside full app embeds too.
